National Constitution Day - Sept. 17

Celebrate the ratification of the U.S. Constitution with our WebQuest, The Constitution: Rules for Running the Country. Students will learn why the Constitution was written, what it does, and how it can be changed. You can also put students at the heart of the debate to ratify the Constitution in our new game, Race to Ratify.

National Voter Registration Day - Sept. 24

Voting is an important right and one way in which citizens can make their voices heard to local, state and federal governments. Registering to vote is a key responsibility but there are many others too. Use our Citizen Me lesson to help students understand the rights and responsibilities of U.S. citizens.

Bill of Rights Sent for Approval - Sept. 25

On September 25, 1789, Congress sent 12 amendments to the Constitution to the states for approval. Ten would become the Bill of Rights. Put students' knowledge of Constitutional rights into practice with the Bill of Rights mode in our game, Do I Have a Right? Pair the game with the You’ve Got Rights lesson.
