Wendy May serves as Partner at Hartline Dacus Barger Dreyer LLP in Dallas, Texas.  She represents clients in a wide range of industries, such as automobile, tire, and child protection equipment manufacturers and suppliers, petrochemical manufacturers and suppliers, fall protection equipment, premises owners, trucking companies and excess insurance carriers.  She is also called on by national clients for crisis management services and advises on policy directives and national product recall campaigns.  A graduate of Baylor University School of Law and University of Texas at Arlington, Ms. May was law clerk to Federal Judge Walter Smith in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Waco Division.  She also serves as a member of the International Association of Defense Council, Defense Research Institute, Dallas Bar Association and American Bar Association.  She is visiting advisor at Baylor University School of Law and Southern Methodist University School of Law.  In addition to serving in the iCivics Board of Directors and as Texas Coordinator, Ms. May is also an advocate and fundraiser for World Vision, a child sponsorship organization committed to fighting poverty and hunger in Africa and around the globe. In addition, she has steered the budgeting and planning committee at her church, and supports the Genesis Women's Shelter for battered women and their children as well as the Dallas Pregnancy Resource Center.
