CIVXNOW PROJECT MANAGER & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Patricia is part of the iCivics management team, oversees office operations, and supports the Executive Director and Board of Directors as the organization's Executive Assistant. She also serves as Project Manger for CivXNow, an iCivics project to ensure every school fulfills its vital civic mission that all student have access to quality civic education and are prepared with the knowledge and skills necessary for informed and effective civic engagement. Prior to joining iCivics, she studied Political Science with a concentration in American Government and Public Administration with a concentration in State and Municipal Government Management at American University in Washington, DC. Following school, Patricia returned to her native Massachusetts and served as Chief of Staff to State Representative Michael S. Day after having worked on his campaign. Outside of the office, she spends her time helping to run an online sexual violence survivor support group, volunteering with the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) and Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC), binge watching Netflix, and pinning a multitude of craft projects and recipes she will never actually attempt to execute.
