We are excited to announce the release of the iCivics Annual Report! At iCivics, we have so much to celebrate. During the previous fiscal year, we focused efforts toward scaling a national moment in civic education. As a respected leader in the field, we convened a national Summit to increase visibility for civic education; co-founded the MA Civic Learning Coalition, successfully pushing a civic education bill in our home state of Massachusetts; and launched the CivXNow movement to improve the status of civic education. 

That’s not all! iCivics continued to innovate to provide our teachers with effective and engaging classroom tools and resources. We upgraded DBQuest, a primary source research tool designed to challenge students to use primary documents to answer big questions. We continued to focus on our promise to reach every student with an upgraded version of our most popular game, Do I Have A Right? which included embedded supports for English language learners and a Spanish language version - ¿Tengo algún derecho?. 

We’re proud to announce that iCivics is now more relevant than ever! During the last fiscal year we grew by 40,000 newly registered teachers, our games were played 19 million times, and our resources and games reached students in 78% of all U.S. civic deserts- a testament to our drive to reach every student in the United States.
