July 8-9, iCivics’ Executive Director, Louise Dubé, and Director of Development, Nina Robinson, attended a class gathering for 2015 recipients of the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions (MACEI).  The convening was an opportunity for grantee organizations to learn about each other’s successes, challenges, and plans for the future, and to learn from past awardees about how to best leverage the award for the long-term success of the organization.      

iCivics is proud to be one of only nine organizations worldwide recognized this year with this award, which we will use to support ongoing innovation and ensure financial sustainability.  We wish to thank the MacArthur Foundation for this significant honor and its ongoing investment and belief in the work of iCivics to revolutionize civic education in our nation’s schools.
