iCivics Executive Director Louise Dubé Up for DVF People's Voice Award
March 08, 2017
A vote for Louise is a vote for iCivics!
We are excited to announce that iCivics Executive Director Louise Dubé has been nominated for the DVF People’s Voice Awards. The DVF Awards were created in 2010 by Diane von Furstenberg and the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to recognize and support extraordinary women and this year's campaign launched on International Women's Day 2017. Based solely on the winning number of popular votes, the winning honoree receives $50,000 for their nonprofit. Dubé state, "Being recognized by an incredible innovator like DVF is probably the the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me and iCivics -- but more than that, it’s a reminder that our mission to teach kids about our democracy and their roles as citizens is more important now than ever."
We encourage you to vote for Louise here (scroll to the bottom) and share your support on social media using #DVFAwards.
