iCivics and NACo Encourage Teachers to Teach Local

April is National County Government month and iCivics and the National Association of Counties (NACo) have partnered to bring local government to the classroom with the re-launch of "Counties Work"- a game that teaches about local government through playing as a county official responsible for juggling citizen requests. "Counties Work is a tool teachers can use to show their students how they can participate at the local level,” iCivics Executive Director Louise Dubé said.
